The PowerStruXure Type A is an "easy-to-implement" availability solution for small to mid-sized data centers and new higher density IT equipment for IP Telephony and Storage applications. The PowerStruXure Type A applications include quick design and build-out of new small data centers and complete single rack/power solutions for high power density IT equipment. IT managers building a new data center with up to 12 racks can use this PowerStruXure Type A as a complete infrastructure system. An electrician is needed only to wire the input of the Symmetra UPS and everything else is contained within the racks. This eliminates a lot of expense and complexity making it much quicker and easier to design and build. Data centers designed with this approach will also be very scalable and adaptable when moves, adds, or changes need to be made.
