In addition to the encoder cards supported with Cisco IP/TV software version 2.0, with version 3.0 Cisco now supports the Optibase MovieMaker 200 encoder cards. These cards are capable of encoding in Motion Picture Experts Group MPEG-1 and MPEG-2 formats. MPEG-2 encoding is available in half D1 resolutions.
