The LS-120 SuperDisk is designed to replace your floppy disk drive. The LS-120 SuperDisk has a higher capacity, is faster, smarter and more reliable than your conventional floppy. The LS-120 SuperDisk stores up to 120 MB of data when used with LS-120 media. It is also downward compatible with current 3.5' floppy technology and can read and write to both 720 KB and 1.44 MB diskettes so you can still use all those diskettes you own. The LS-120 drive spins the media at higher speeds and when LS-120 diskettes are used, accesses data five times faster than a standard floppy disk drive. When 1.44 MB or 720 KB media is used, the drive is three times faster.
