IBM TotalStorage DS4000 EXP100 (17241XP) 250 GB

This new model of the popular IBM TotalStorage DS4000 EXP100 Storage Expansion enclosure is now being offered with a 1-year, 24 hours per day, 7 days per week warranty terms and conditions. The new EXP100 (17241XP) provides the same SATA disk storage expansion capabilities as the current EXP100 (171010U), which comes with a 3-year, 9 hours per day, 5 days per week warranty terms. The EXP100 models are interchangeable in DS4000 configurations where SATA Expansion enclosures are employed. The new 17241XP model of the EXP100 carries 1 year warranty similar to the IBM TotalStorage DS4100 Disk System, while the 171010U model of the EXP100 carries a 3-year warranty similar to storage configurations based on the IBM TotalStorage DS4300, DS4400 and DS4500 Disk Systems.
